One small line of copy. One high-concept video with big impact. This corporate recruitment video seeks to attract engineers to the hard-to-fill nuclear engineering roles at BAE.

Our idea: show a sub being reverse engineered. We emphasized the incredible scale and complexity of this machine and then deconstruct it down to a single, simple part – a bolt – and then down to just an idea. Because that’s all a sub is: an idea. One that goes nowhere without the engineers. They are the real heroes of the story.

It also ran as a Videopak cover mount and was sent to a targeted readership of Professional Engineering magazine.
